2015 staff conference presentations

FIE staff have been busy presenting at conferences and other events!

In early March, Clare Woessner and Aoife Redmond presented at an AASAP/UK event in London on ‘First Year Programmes: Third Party Providers & Their Relationships With Home Schools and Partners’.

In late March, Grahaeme Hesp co-presented with Scott Reikofski (University of Pennsylvania) at the NASPA conference in New Orleans on ‘Missing men: Increasing study abroad enrolment with fraternity outreach via innovative GreekConnect activities’.

At the Global Internship Conference (GIC) in April in Dublin, Karl Dowling co-presented with Lezlie McCabe and Katie Ryan from Temple University on ‘A recipe for meaningful cross cultural interactions: authentic engagement, leadership and intercultural skills’, and Julie Andreshak-Behrman, Grahaeme Hesp and Rebecca Claris presented on ‘Is that for here or to go?: Takeaways and transferable skills delivered through the London workplace and classroom’.

At the NAFSA conference in Boston in May, John Pearson co-presented with Lorna Stern (Arcadia University), Lauren Kettler and Harilaos Zambelis (both Northeastern University) on ‘International Programs for Freshman Students: A 360-degree Perspective’.
