New plays from Ben Musgrave

This summer, Ben’s play ‘Across the Dark Water’, a thriller about the Southampton Plot to kill Henry V on the eve of the invasion of France, was on between July 21st and 1st August and was performed in various venues related to the plot, including the extraordinary Portchester Castle (near Portsmouth) and the beautiful St Julien’s Chapel in Southampton.

Coming soon, Ben’s play ‘Crushed Shells and Mud’ will be on at the Southwark Playhouse from the 1st-24th October. The play is directed by Russell Bolam, and has an extraordinary cast: Alexander Arnold (LUNA GALE, POLDARK, SKINS), Alex Lawther (the young Alan Turing in THE IMITATION GAME, VIRTUOSO), Hannah Britland (SKINS, FRESH MEAT), Laura Howard (MIDSOMER MURDERS, INVINCIBLE) and Simon Lenegan (SHIVERED). Read more here and the play will also be published by Nick Hern Books #CrushedShellsSP
