New Resource — Prepare for Success

A new resource aimed at preparing students for study in the UK is now available.  It is more geared towards those attending British universities; so, it may be of use for CIEE students, for example.  However, there are also elements that you may find useful for FIE students.  You can access Prepare for Success here.

This resource is funded by the Prime Minister’s Initiative for International Education through the UK Council for International Student Affairs.

Working with International Students: *Free* Training

The following was circulated by UKCISA this week:

Free NASES training events – working with international students

A few places are still available at these PMI-funded one-day training events on Friday 25 June at Bath University and on Wednesday 30 June at Leeds City College.  These events are aimed at careers and employability staff and will provide an overview of the regulations surrounding working in the UK, along with opportunities to exchange information and share best practice.  While these events are FE focused and priority will be given to FE staff, much information will also be relevant to staff from HE institutions.
